The first International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) addressed the future of social housing on a global scale. About 1300 participants discussed in cross-disciplinary events how housing strategies should respond to emerging societal challenges like migration to cities, segregation and diversification of tenant's needs. We asked ourselves how social housing can keep cities open, undivided and inclusive.
In this video a number of festival participants and speakes (among others Laurens Ivens, Marja Elsinga, Darinka Czischke, Sophie Rousseau, Egbert de Vries, Merel Pit and Pepijn Bakker) share their personal opinion about the ISHF and how social housing strategies should respond to the challenges of nowaday's cities.
